Altep, Inc. Releases Inspicio® 2.0     
Innovative platform now offers near-duplicate detection, audit reports, enhanced To Do List Management.

On Monday, November 3, 2008, Altep, Inc. announced the release of version 2.0 of Inspicio®, its Universal Document Review platform.  The system allows attorneys to efficiently examine documents in preparation for litigation; version 2.0 offers improved responsiveness and includes a variety of time- and money-saving features.  Importantly, for version 2.0 Altep has partnered with Equivio™ (www.equivio.com) and integrated the software firm’s near-duplicate detection technology.

The integration eliminates redundancy in the document review process by identifying similar documents and grouping them for side-by-side review. Differences are highlighted for easy analysis, and the review is more accurate and cost-effective. Optionally, groups of similar documents can also be assigned to attorneys as To Do Lists, via Inspicio®’s easy-to-use To Do List Manager.

Additional features that are new in version 2.0 include multi-tab behavior, enhanced tag organization capabilities, an intuitive new query builder, batch printing and batch PDF conversion capabilities, expanded To Do List capabilities, and a variety of other “power tools” designed to increase the accuracy and efficiency of review projects of all sizes.
