In 2007, Altep assisted with the formation and launch of SuperiorReview, a nation-wide provider of managed review and staffing services. Importantly, near the end of 2009, SuperiorReview was certified as a Minority Business Enterprise by the National Minority Supplier Development Council and the Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council.
By fostering the strategic alliance and serving as SuperiorReview’s mentor partner, Altep accomplished two goals:
· Tightly –coupled review. In most circumstances, once the EDD vendor has processed the data, they hand it over to the review team and walk away. In a best case scenario, the EDD team may re-insert itself when the review is complete, in order to manage the production. During the review itself, however, problems, questions and additional requirements are left to the client, and re-negotiation is required if data must be re-processed. As an affiliate firm, SuperiorReview has developed methods and avenues of communication that neatly dove-tail right into Altep’s existing structures. This promotes a high degree of accountability, and allows us to work in tandem to provide a client experience that is virtually seamless.
· Corporate Minority Spend. SuperiorReview is a Certified MBE and has a history of working with corporations under their supplier diversity programs. As an option, SuperiorReview is able to subcontract Altep’s services, including magnetic media discovery, paper, and EDD processing, hosting and data conversion. With this arrangement, SuperiorReview will act as the project coordinator and primary point of contact for the project.
